AIRSOFT REENACTMENT UNIT

Joint Task Force SWORD

10th Mountain Division and Navy SEALs warfare. Authentic gear, team tactics, regular training sessions and events across the Czech Republic.

Who we are

We are a group of people brought together by modern military reenactment, airsoft and teamwork in the field. We strive for a faithful representation of gear and procedures, but safety, fair play and a great atmosphere at events matter to us just as much.

This is our flagship unit portraying the 10th Mountain Division of the US Army. Our primary camouflage pattern is UCP and we focus mainly on the circa 2003-2008 period. We field M4A1 assault rifles (optionally with the M203 underbarrel grenade launcher), M249 light machine guns, M24 and M107A1 sniper rifles, and Beretta M9/M9A1 pistols.

At Protector 2019 we served as Military Police at the ISAF base, and at later events mostly as US Border Patrol on the US-Mexico border.

US Navy SEALs

A looser interpretation, not tied to a specific team

Our secondary unit. It is modelled on the weapons and gear of the 2005-2006 period (mainly Operation Red Wings 2005 and the Battle of Ramadi 2006). Primary camouflage patterns are 3-color desert (DCU) and woodland, occasionally UCP for CQB situations. We use M4A1 (Block 1) assault rifles, MK12 MOD0 and MK11 MOD0 rifles, MK46 MOD0 machine guns and Sig Sauer P226 pistols.

More recently we also occasionally run equipment and gear from 2007 onwards, featuring MK17 and MK14 rifles and AOR1 uniforms. We treat the SEAL portrayal as an open approach and do not imitate any specific team.

We approach the NSW line just as thoroughly as the US Army part: gear details, weapon configurations and the corresponding tactical procedures. The goal is the most faithful impression of the period possible.

Vehicles & equipment

Custom vehicle modifications, communication systems, night movements and support platforms for the team in the field during larger scenario events.

Community at events

Friendly players, individuals from other teams and people outside specific reenactment units join us at events. It is not just about fighting in the field - it is also about meeting friends, barbecuing together and relaxed chats after the event.
